Awning Windows
These are fast becoming the popular window of choice for designers and home owners, and
for good reason. They push out effortlessly from the bottom and when open give ventilation
with a measure of rain protection.
They are the set-and-forget option offering superior weathering and sound reduction.
But there's nothing standard about our awning window. The awning frame comes in both
standard and extended frame options and is one of the strongest and most robust on the
market. As with all windows and doors the sashes and accompanying fixed sidelights can be
fitted with double glazed panels for improved thermal control.
The sill design allows easy installation of flyscreens without expensive and unsightly trims.
Awnings can be used in most positions but are not recommended where windows open onto a deck
or walkway due to their projecting nature.
Bi-Fold Windows
Our bi-folds let nothing get in your way. They stack to one side to open up the full glory
of your outside views and summer breezes.
Moving them back and forth is effortless. The special bottom roller system carries the weight
of the windows on the sill instead of from the top track. This ensures smooth opening and
closing, no jamming and scraping.
The versatility of the bi-fold enables you to customise your own design. The option exists
of stacking all the panels to one side or designing them as two sets, with one pair going
one way and the second pair the other.
As with all our windows and doors the hinges and handles are available in a number of
finishes and can be colour matched to the aluminium framing.
ClearVENT™ sashless windows
As an alternative, ClearVENT™ sashless windows offer totally unobstructed views. The frameless
design means there are no stiles, rails or transoms to clutter the outlook.
The ClearVENT™ sashless window is designed to give high and low ventilation. It is simple
to operate and can be latched in an open position. Additionally they are available with or
without flyscreens.
Two panes of glass slide gently past each other within aluminium guides which fit neatly into
the perimeter frame.
They come with a standard Vantage frame to match other windows.
French, entry and bi-folding door panels can also be fitted with ClearVENT™ opening sashes,
as can the Magnum™ window frame.
Double Hung Windows
Our double hung window is perfect for those occasions where a traditional double hung window
appearance is desired. It has the virtue of being a non-projecting window, safeguarding
pedestrians on walkways.
These windows have a host of user friendly features. Convenient finger grips are built into
the top and bottom sashes for easy operation, while low maintenance spring balances allow
effortless opening and closing.
The moving sashes are secured with specially designed cam handles available in either locking
or non-locking. Both are easy to operate and ensure maximum security.
