E.W. Cox announces merge with Gomyl
The management of EW Cox and Gomyl is pleased to announce that the two
companies have agreed in principle to merge the worldwide operations. The proposed merger
combines the strengths of EW Cox and Gomyl to create a robust, balanced and diverse product
portfolio. We aim to strengthen the relationships with our distribution network and to be
in a better position to deliver better solutions to our customers.
Highly Experienced Management Team
The senior leadership team intends to combine key talent from both companies which will
ensure the continued operation of the combined company and to ensure that all key contracts
which have been entered into will be seamlessly delivered on time as committed.
The current management of both EW Cox and Gomyl will remain in place and the current
manufacturing locations of both companies will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
Founded by Eric William Cox in October 1955, E. W. Cox were the pioneers of external
building access systems in Australia. E .W. Cox is an engineering company specializing in
the Design, Manufacture, Installation of Building Maintenance Equipment (BME) and Access
Equipment. E. W. Cox's headquarters, Design and manufacturing base is located in Victoria,
Australia. EW Cox specializes in providing complex solutions to the world's highest buildings.
Gomyl, S.A. was established in 1989 by a team of specialists in the field of engineering.
Gomyl's main objective is to design, manufacture, commercialize and distribute cleaning and
maintenance equipment for high-rise, multi-story building facades and window panels. Gomyl
has been collaborating with clients worldwide and continues to develop new projects in different
countries as well as in Spain.
