Australia is progressing rapidly towards a more energy efficient future. To improve energy efficiency in construction, significant changes have been made to the Building Code of Australia, including the introduction of mandatory 6 star ratings for new housing.

Trend® Windows & Doors has undertaken extensive research and development to produce a more advanced and energy efficient product that enables these new building requirements to be achieved cost efficiently.

Trend thermAL™ is a revolutionary hybrid window product combining the strength and security of aluminium with ERP™, a new patented insulating skin. ERP™ is an advanced Extruded Rigid Polymer, which incorporates a number of innovative properties.

These properties include pre-stressing to eliminate expansion and contraction, UV stabilisation to protect from sun exposure and impact modification to protect against accidental damage.

Trend thermAL™ has been designed to accommodate double glazed units up to 26mm for maximum energy efficiency. With over 60 glazing options available, there is one to suit any situation or climate zone in Australia.
