Resin Floors for Adelaide Oval Video with FLOORChef

FLOORChef kicking goals at the new Adelaide Oval

February was an exciting time for FLOORChef as we cooked up a storm in three prestigious areas of the Adelaide Oval while it underwent a $500 million re-development.

A two-tone Designer Dessert was developed in consultation with architects looking for stylish floor that could be coloured to match the decor, as well as handle a testing mix of corporate catering and heavy traffic in the 700m2 total area. The stain-resistant, easy-to-clean finish of our gourmet resin floors met the brief perfectly!

The first section completed was the Field Club, which holds gameday functions with a unique glimpse into the changerooms of both AFL teams. Here, the two-tone design was specified in "Mt.Eden" grey and the application included a clear anti-slip around the bar for greater patron safety.

From there, we moved onto the Audi Stadium Club in the Eastern Stand - a facility representing the very best in modern corporate hospitality. What a place to watch sport!

FLOORChef was invited to put down the same design on two floors in this luxurious space. The first in "Teahouse" grey for the John Platten Bar (with clear anti-slip once again in the service areas); the second in "Organic" grey for the beautiful dining area simply known as The Restaurant.

In all three areas a satin polish was applied over the top of the floor for easier maintenance.

As you can see in the video, the floors looked superb as they flowed seamlessly throughout the rooms and along the arching corridors of this impressive stadium.
