Acrylic based texture coatings maintain the structural integrity of a facade by providing protection from UV rays, water, wind, and temperature changes. And because the surface is protected from these natural factors, the structure is less prone to peeling, flaking, sagging, and will inhibit fungi or algae growth.
When choosing the right texture product, factors like ease of application, effectiveness of the texture, and drying speed must be taken into account. JPS Coatings offers the optimum solution that gives clients the best performance out of all these aspects. Included in their product range are acrylic based texture coatings which are available in two kinds: trowel-on and roll-on. While these two products differ in application methods, both textures ensure long-lasting results.
Both high-build acrylic based coatings, JPS Coatings Trowel-On and JPS Coatings Roll-On textures are formulated on 100% acrylic emulsions, mineral fillers, finely graded aggregates, and colour stable pigments. These textures from JPS Coatings come in a semi-liquid paste consistency offer superior surface protection in just a single application.
Both trowel-on and roll-on textures by JPS Coatings Textures have a long "Wet Edge" formulation to make both application methods easy. Although this is the case, it is still recommended to apply the texture in a quick and continuous pace to achieve maximum results. These high-quality textures can be applied to any masonry substrate including Off-Form Concrete, Glass Reinforced Concrete, F.C Sheeting, Plasterboard, and Cement Render.
These textures by JPS Coatings not only differ in their mode of application, they also have different curing times.
Assuming that there is no loss of product, a single pail of JPS Coatings Trowel-On Texture covers approximately 12-14 m² if applied in the spread rate of 0.9 m² per litre while a single pail of JPS Coatings Roll-On Texture can be applied to approximately 22-25 m², if applied in the spread rate of 1.6 m² per litre.
In just 4 hours at 25°C and 50% relative humidity JPS Coatings Trowel-On Texture is surface dry. Drying, however, will take longer if the relative humidity is higher or in lower temperatures. In this case, it can take up to seven days to hard dry. JPS Coatings Roll-On Texture, on the other hand, is touch dry in just 1 hour if applied at the same temperature and relative humidity as Trowel-On Texture. At the same time, Trowel-On Texture can also take seven days to hard dry if in lower temperatures or higher humidity.
JPS Coatings pays close attention to quality and high performance. Extensive research, testing, and development are undertaken before each of their products is ready for retail. With their texture coatings made from a formulation of high-quality materials, JPS Coatings ensure that every structure is protected from the natural forces.
