Tridium, Inc. and FAMCO LIGHTING PTY LTD Announce an OEM Agreement to integrate the MasterMinder® Emergency Lighting Monitoring and Testing System with the Niagara Framework

Richmond, VA June 2005 - Tridium®, Inc. a leader in integration technologies, and FAMCO LIGHTING®, a market-leading global brand of HPM Industries, the Australian Electrical Group.  As part of the agreement, FAMCO LIGHTING will utilize Tridium's Niagara Framework® for its latest web-enabled MasterMinder® Emergency Lighting Control.  A key feature for FAMCO and Tridium is that the MasterMinder® system will be web enabled and also have a BACNet, LON or Modbus interfaces via the Niagara Framework. The browser-based application will provide a simple user friendly interface for configuring and testing the FAMCO Emergency Lighting systems, Alarm Management and optional notifications via pagers, sms, e-mail etc., and the storing of the tests results into a secure database for retrieval analysis and Health and Safety compliance reports.

A special pre-configured MasterMinder® web-page module will allow installers to configure lighting systems through a browser, significantly reducing delivery time and simplifying configuration. Optional interface via the Niagara Framework will allow End Users, Contractors and Consulting Engineers to design and specify open and integrated enterprise building solutions to better suit users needs.  "We are very excited to announce this relationship as it will position FAMCO LIGHTING at the forefront of technology," said Robert Lewit, General Manager FAMCO LIGHTING.  "The Niagara Framework with the Quickstart configuration will enable customers to immediately see the benefits of web-enabling their lighting and electrical distribution systems.  Systems integrators will appreciate a pre-built application that significantly reduces integration costs while assuring a trouble-free installation".

As part of the agreement, Tridium will assist FAMCO LIGHTING in the development of the application, which will run on a private labeled hardware platform developed by Tridium.  "The MasterMinder® configuration is a great example of how organizations can utilize the Niagara Framework toolset to simplify product development", said Martin Hodder, Tridium VP, Asia pacific Sales.  "We welcome FAMCO LIGHTING to the Niagara Appliance program and we applaud their vision and quick response to a market opportunity."
