New Precast Glass Block Paver System from Obeco Glass Blocks
The above photographs are of a project recently completed by us at the Woollahra Council Chambers above Redleaf Pool on New South Head Road, Woollahra. The panels allow natural light into the administrative offices below, and at night, up-light the terrace area which overlooks the Double Bay area of magnificent Sydney Harbour. (NSW Australia)
The works complement the existing 19th century colonial building. A total of 28 panels measuring 1320mm (6 blocks) x 1320mm (6 blocks) were installed by our building division Glass Block Experts Pty Ltd. Using a fixed jib, walk behind, fork lift (each panel weighing approximately 300kg) the panels were located into position and waterproofed.
