High Angle Access
Accessibility to high buildings does not prove a problem to ANC Bird Control as we are
certified in the use of Industrial Rope Access (I.R.A.) and in a majority of cases are
able to work from ropes where Scaffolding or Cherry Pickers are impracticable or are
cost prohibitive.
An example in particular for Twin Rope Access was a problem of feral pigeons gaining access
to the inside of the World Trade Centre in Melbourne via a hole caused by a piece of
dislodged flashing above a side sky light. The location was too high for ladders and not
accessible for a cherry picker. The hole was secured using Bird Guard.
