Surface Technology International Pty Ltd was incorporated in March 2003 to manufacture and market a unique, design registered, non fade, non slip and non delaminating tactile ground surface indicators that fully comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 1428.4:2002).

This unique system is known as the Guardian Tactile Ground Surface Indicator and is guaranteed for 10 years.

Our tactiles have been tested by the CSIRO and given a slip resistance rating of R11.

Peel and stick installation means our tactile pavers can be fitted into small areas that would be difficult or impossible for laying indicators in alternative materials, such as concrete, tiles and ceramic.

In cases where Guardian Tactiles are required for outdoor, heavy traffic areas we recommend the added security measure of fitting our non-removable nylon corner pinning system.
