Formcraft Total Building System from stack to finishing
Stack
The modules are easily assembled using the Formcraft connection system. It is then
simply a matter of stacking the blocks on a pre poured footing to form the walls.
The corner blocks add strength and convenience and the modular design of the
Formcraft building system means that panel heights coincide with standard window,
door and roof plate heights.
Brace
A lightweight bracing and scaffold system is used to prop the walls and to provide
a platform for the pouring of the concrete. Reinforcement bars are easily snapped
into place to further increase the strength of the walls.
Pour
Concrete is poured in the cavity between the formwork panels with a concrete pump and
the panels stay in place to become the insulating element of the walls.
Accessories
Formcraft is a "Total Building System," we can provide a variety of complimentary
products that add further support to the construction process. Accessories include
two-in-one bracing and scaffolding systems, window and door framing systems and
finishing systems for the exterior wall surface.
Finishing Systems
The vertical furring strip on the exterior of the Formcraft panels will accept
almost any screw fixed cladding system, e.g. Colour Bond, Hardi-Boards and Weather
Boards.
Formcraft Dura-tex is recommended as a durable render system with an extensive range
of textures and colours. Dura-tex textured render can be applied to the surface of
Formcraft walls to provide an extremely impact resistant and stylish finishing system.
A base coat is applied with embedded fiberglass mesh before the application of a trowel
or roll-on textured finish.

cladding system.
