Hot Metal® laminate at the movies
Going to the cinema can be exciting entertainment. The internal
design of the cinema complex and its careful use of architectural products will
only enhance the venue's entertaining appeal.
Hot Metal® laminate is an exciting product offering great impact through visual
effects. This is why it has been used in a newly completed cinema complex at Rouse
Hill, NSW.
Hot Metal® laminate has been applied to 290 square meters of the cinema's interior
surfaces. The applications are visually stunning and numerous. They include, a
large feature wall in the main entrance area of the venue, feature doors and walls
encasing the foyers to 6 large cinemas, signage in the gold lounge and signage to 3
gold lounge boutique cinemas.
The Hot Metal® colour Fire Fly Red in the random pattern has been used to evoke an
exciting almost red carpet experience to the movie goer as they pass through any of
the foyers to the 6 cinemas. Hot Metal ® Gold in the random pattern has been used to
display a luxury element in the gold lounge and in the 3 gold boutique cinemas.
Sophisticated signage has been designed successfully to produce a look that is quite
paramount.
In this project, lighting has been strategically positioned onto Hot Metal® to enhance
its powerful dimensional effects. Such outstanding visual effects could almost be seen
to kick-start a ready mode for viewing the visual effects present in many films today.
