Barrierboard by Soundblock Solutions reduces noise level by 70%
Barrierboard an Australian-made patented plasterboard
sound-proofing material reducing noise levels by up to 70 per cent.
Barrierboard comprises one layer of 10mm plasterboard, 6mm acoustic
insulation and one layer 16mm Firechek. It is rebated and finishes as
per traditional plasterboard and can be applied to both walls and
ceilings. It comes in two sheet sizes 2700 x 1200 and 2400 x 1200.
Barrierboard outperforms 2 layers of 16mm acoustic plasterboard by
3-4 db.
