Compact metal halide technology - The FLC121 by WE-EF Lighting
WE-EF has released an extension to its range of compact projector
luminaires. The FLC121 is the smallest yet, with dimensions of 250mm by 110mm and
weighing in at just 1.5kg. The FLC121 uses the very latest in compact metal halide
technology and includes electronic control gear fitted as standard. Compactness
takes on a whole new meaning given that the FLC121 is also available with remote
gear box when size is a priority.
The FLC121 is availabe in 20W and 35W versions and in Narrow, Medium and Wide
distributions. At a time when energy consumption and therefore "whole of life
cost" is taking on such significance, it is to be noted that the 20W metal halide
version has equal performance to the 75W dichroic floodlights used extensively
in low cost garden lighting products. The FLC121 has an extensive array of accessories
including colour filters and glare shields.
The FLC121 is typically used for the illumination of statues, artwork, landscapes
and the highlighting of architectural elements. It is particularly suitable for
those situations where discrete light sources are important.
