ethos™ green carpet backing system from GEO Flooring 
GEO flooring would like to introduce some of the benefits of ethos™, a non PVC carpet backing system by Tandus. Constructed of reclaimed PVB - the film used in laminated safety glass, this product, which would ordinarily go into landfill at the end of its useful life, has provided Tandus with yet another innovation in environmental sustainability. The inspiration for ethos™ was first conceived in 2003 with a request for proposal from Kaiser - Permanente - America's largest non-profit health organization, who had requested a PVC-Free product with the same performance characteristics as traditionally used PVC products. This ultimately led to a successful product development. Benefits of ethos™ are; - 76% post consumer recycled content in the secondary backing.
