3monkeez CEO to Participate in Vinnies CEO Sleep Out

There is no better return on investment than the one you make in someone's future.

On the 21st June 2012 3monkeez CEO Andrew Russell will be participating in the St Vincent de Paul Society CEO Sleep Out and he needs your help to reach his donation goal of $20,000.

Each year business and community leaders come together to experience one night of what is a daily reality for 105,000 homeless Australians. By sleeping out Andrew will make a social investment that has the power to change lives.

In the past 12 months at the Ozanam Learning Centre:

80 people experiencing homelessness have gained a TAFE qualification onsite

1000 people experiencing homelessness have taken part in computer learning courses

2500 homeless people have participated in music classes and recording sessions

3000 homeless people have got involved in the OLC art therapy and art classes program

5000 occasions of homeless people taking part in fitness, living skills and recovery programs

Participating CEOs have begun to understand that homeless people aren't all that different from anyone else and have given them the chance to work and positively contribute to their businesses. One homeless client has just been accepted to study law. Another volunteered to rebuild QLD after the floods. And yet another has opened a Natural Healing practice and is now helping others. These are stories of hope and opportunity. Stories of investing in people's potential.

Even a small investment changes lives:

$70 will provide a homeless person with a living skills program

$300 will provide five homeless people with a cooking course

$800 will provide a TAFE course in computer skills or employment preparation for ten people

$3000 provide 100 homeless people with a bed for a night

When asked why he was more than willing to participate in this event he stated

"This is a great cause that can make a significant difference. I am pleased to be part of it, and I look forward to your support in achieving my donation target."
