Common Waterproofing Problems Associated with Strata Buildings

Once again, the Wolfin waterproofing system has been successfully used to rectify leaks coming from decks, garden beds & failed cavity flashings in a building apartment situated in Darling Point. These are common waterproofing problems encountered in most Strata Buildings.

In this case, the waterproofing was jeopardised by building movement, poor workmanship & the aggressive marine environment which it's located. The fact that the old deck membrane and the cavity flashings were working not in conjunction with each other also led to a failure of the waterproofing at this junction.

Diego Balagna specified the Wolfin System to rectify the ongoing water problems & the installation was carried out by Licensed Wolfin Applicators, David Campbell Building.

Wolfin GWSK membrane was installed to the Decks & Planter Boxes & the Cavity Flashings were reinstated using the Wolfin IB membrane.

316L Stainless WolfinSteel profiles were also used to terminate the membrane to ensure longevity of the waterproofing membrane in this coastal environment.
