Austral Bricks launch their new TerraCade brochure

Austral Bricks have released a new brochure for their TerraCade facade system for major projects.

Launching the new brochure, Brett Ward Austral Bricks marketing manager, said the new publication highlights successful major TerraCade™ projects.

"We wanted to give architects, specifiers and builders a more detailed brochure to highlight the benefits of this exciting new product. We are delighted with the response to this innovative, stylish and natural building product since its original launch.

"TerraCade™ is winning more projects as architects discover the benefits of this attractive faÃ�§ade system. Recently TerraCade has been used on a Pitt Street, Sydney office redevelopment, a new tavern in Caloundra, Queensland and a squadron headquarters at the RAAF base at Williamstown NSW" said Brett Ward.

"The faÃ�§ade system was one of the building products selected for the upgrade to the Adelaide Oval. TerraCade™ was used on a number of sections in the new grandstands and amenities buildings. The 600x300 faÃ�§ade in linear texture and Pilbara colour was chosen.

"TerraCade™ enabled the architect to blend the natural beauty, low maintenance and longevity of real terracotta with the speed and efficiency, which is demanded in modern construction.

"The new Pelican Waters Tavern at Pelican Waters Caloundra features TerraCade™ near the entry of the Tavern. The rich earthy colours of the faÃ�§ade system suited the overall design of the tavern providing an appealing finish TerraCade as a cladding" Brett Ward added.

For the Williamstown project TerraCade™ provided a more up market look compared to alternative materials.

"It has given the main entrance to the building a sense of presence. It was fast to install. There was a limited budget for the project and again TerraCade™ came up trumps"

Buildings can have the natural beauty and longevity of terracotta combined with speed and efficiency demanded in modern day construction. It heralds a new era in design.

The TerraCade™ Façade System is available in a smooth or lined finish and there are six stylish colours available for creative architecture.
