Marmox floor heating insulation board is a technically advanced board designed as the
perfect complement to undertile heating.
Marmox insulation board can be installed over concrete or wooden floors directly under the
tile heating system, it works as a thermal barrier between tile heating and the substrate,
preventing heat loss and directing as much heat as possible upwards.
It does increase the response time of the heating, it also significantly improves energy
efficiency and cut down the running costs.
Depending on the pattern of using the system, Marmox will pay for itself within 2-5 years.
You will find by switching on the heating, floor tiles will warm up in about 15-20 minutes,
even on a cold concrete slab, on wooden floor it has a 2 degree increase every 10 minutes
from start up.
Marmox is an impact noise insulation, reducing foot fall noise. Marmox can be used as ceramic
tile underlay. Marmox is a total waterproof board, (made of extruded polystyrene), which will
retain its insulation properties in wet environment making it perfect for bathroom areas
and showers.
