Power Saver from BMASS - energy saving
BMASS was formed in 2001 with the express purpose of providing
unique integrated solutions to difficult problems in the commercial, industrial
and law enforcement sectors. The company holds licenses for:
- the manufacture, sales and distribution of energy saving systems for lighting
power, Power Saver, a micro-processor controlled unit incorporating autotransformer
and reduction voltage technology;
- sales and distribution of telecommunication and telemetry technologies, including
field phone and portable phone;
- the manufacture, sales and distribution of switch mode battery charger system
utilising a unique pulse charge technique;
- the development and application of acoustic technologies for security and
surveillance applications.
BMASS focus is the development and marketing of the following products:
Power Saver energy saving technology to manage and reduce lighting power, improve
lighting efficiency and reduce operating costs for lighting to the commercial and
Government sectors by up to 30%.
Power Saver has been independently reviewed by ecospecifier, has been pre-assessed
by them as a product likely to contribute to the achievement of Green Star credit
points against a number of green star product categories from the Green Building
Council of Australia and likely to contribute to meeting significant energy
efficiency criteria using the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating (ABGR) scheme
by office building owners and tenants.

Specialist acoustic recovery system technologies, initially for application in marine
environments
The principals of BMASS have subsequently formed a joint venture company for the further
application of acoustic and other technologies to various security and surveillance
applications; Acoustic Monitoring Systems Pty Ltd. Acoustic Monitoring Systems Pty Ltd
specialises in the integration and application of acoustic, intelligent video surveillance
(IVS) and cameras, communication and power supplies for automated and remote operational
scenarios.
