R-Flor particleboard flooring from Carter Holt Harvey

R-Flor® Radiant Barrier Particleboard Flooring is the latest innovation from Carter Holt Harvey. Developed to deliver improvements in thermal comfort and energy efficiency of suspended flooring systems. R-Flor uniquely integrates a high reflectance (low emittance) metallised foil with particleboard flooring to significantly reduce radiative heat transfer and improve the 'Total R-Value' of the flooring system.

R-Flor offers builders and homeowners many advantages and benefits;

The improvement of the 'Total R-Value' by using R-Flor helps address energy efficiency compliance as is now required by the BCA, Five Star (Victoria) and Basix (NSW). Like Structaflor® and TermiFlor™, R-Flor is easy to install and ideal for residential suspended sub-floor systems, built using the platform or fitted construction method. Furthermore, flooring can be installed in-keeping with the requirements of AS1860 Part 2: Particleboard Flooring Installation. Builders need no special equipment or tools for installation and R-Flor is termite-treated for added protection.
