Greywater recycling from New Water - reduce household water consumption

At New Water we strongly believe that treating and recycling
greywater (shower, washing machine water) is an important way to reduce household
water consumption. We do not however endorse the environmentally unsound and
dangerous practice of diverting raw greywater onto or into gardens. This is a
practice that was eliminated with the introduction of sewage systems so why go
back to pre-sewage system days. It is dangerous to people's health and while
you hear people say not too worry we believe just one person getting dreadfully
sick from this practice is one too many.
It is for these reasons we developed the Aqua Reviva (approved by the New South
Wales Health Department, Victorian EPA and in the ACT, with other States soon
to follow). It treats your greywater to a very safe level (called Class A) and
enables you to store the treated water for as long as you like and re-use it in
your home (toilets and washing machine) and your garden (sprinklers, drip
irrigation etc).
The other great thing about the Aqua Reviva is that it is small and unobtrusive
and the installation is quite painless - no big holes to be dug - and it is designed
to your specifications for recycling. A New Water consultant will work with you
to calculate how much recycled water you need and the system is customised to your
requirements. We recently won an award for the Aqua Reviva - best new product at
the DesignEx and Form and Function Show in Sydney - this is a show that demonstrates
leading edge solutions are relevant for builders and designers.
