Every Sydney Water Tank is individually wet cast from 40mpa steel fibre
reinforced concrete so there are no seams between the wall and floor. For a
watertight seal, all inlets and outlets are cast in the tank, and the lid is
bonded and sealed in the factory.
The access turret and cover is tested to withstand a top load of 510kg, so
it's safe to go under your garage, driveway, patio or garden. Our tank
manufacturing process is conducted under a Quality Assurance scheme to ensure
that each tank complies with the quality requirements of AS1546.1.
