Growing Green Guide

KHD was recently involved with the Growing Green Guide project established to promote and transform Melbourne's roofs, walls and facades into vegetated, leafy habitats. The project was launched on 20th February 2014 at the University of Melbourne.

The project was a joint initiative of the University of Melbourne and the Inner Melbourne Action Plan (IMAP) being the city councils of Melbourne, Yarra, Stonnington and Port Phillip.

The Growing Green Guide was developed with advice from industry experts and was also backed by academic research. The overall objective was to explain how to create high quality green roofs, walls and facades. Ken contributed to the guide by providing technical advice on the design, construction and maintenance elements of green roofs, walls and facades.
