This Family home emulates the ideal of living near the beach with natural stone floors blending perfectly on the ground level blending perfectly with a varnished hardwood staircase and flooring on the second level.

The Master suite upstairs consists of a Master Bedroom, Ensuite with separate toilet and double shower, Walk in Robe, Retreat/Study and large balcony taking in the views.

This extension in Cottesloe was a project that Nexus installed early in 2013. After quotes for a new home that based on a comparable completed project value would have cost the client $200,000 more than the Nexus Home Improvements quote for the renovation, the home owners decided to renovate rather than knock down and rebuild, and couldn't be happier with the result.

Downstairs several walls were removed, the kitchen opened up and a new alfresco, games room and bedroom added. The finishing touches includes a coastal grade colorbond re-roof to the whole ground floor and second level, new hardies scyon linea weatherboards, and rendering of the ground floor.

The fascinating thing about this second storey renovation is that the onsite building time was cut down by approximately 75% due to Nexus Home Improvement's innovative offsite construction of the second storey module.

And even more amazing (and a real saver on cost for the client) is that the family was able to remain living in the home whilst the whole construction of their home took place
