Carrington Road is a busy arterial road in the suburb of Box Hill near Melbourne. The road is popular for restaurants and retail outlets. Due to the increase in pedestrian traffic, the local council decided to extend the width of the pavement, raise the road to the same level and incorporate linear drainage for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and wheelchairs.

- Pedestrian safe grates, strong enough to withstand accidental traffic
- Visually compatible with the granite paving
- Easy maintenance

ACO's Solution
- TraffikDrain TD200 sloped system with Iron Intercept Heelsafe® Anti-Slip grate
- ACO's Technical Support Department provided hydraulic data to the project designers on the performance and capabilities of TraffikDrain
