Control heat & light with Blockout shutters

Excessive heat and light can be a nuisance, especially in projects featuring large panels of glass. Natural light and a sunny aspect can enliven an interior, but it is important that home owners have adequate control over the admission of heat and light.

Blockout Shutters can help by reducing heat intake by 90% and heat loss in the home by 70% and by reducing light levels by up to 99%. At the flick of a switch, the desired light level can be achieved with the fully retractable Blockout Shutter.

Blockout Shutters also protect residences from level 1, 2 and 3 category bushfires, as defined in AS 3959. With six models and 14 standard colours to choose from, they can be anodized or powdercoated to suit the external look of the building. The shutters can be controlled either manually or via various electronic options, to ensure easy operation.
