Duker cast iron pipes from DEKS

Duker products are manufactured in Germany.
DEKS Industries is proud to announce their appointment as
exclusive Australian distributors of the Duker cast iron range. The cast iron
pipes are Australian Standard approved (SMK 20057 / EN 877) and cast iron is
also vandal and damage proof. The life expectancy for cast iron pipes can be up
to 100 years or more due to proven cases of cast iron. Since 1913 Duker has been
offering all material-related advantages which have been proven in cast iron such
as high strength, resistance to wear, corrosion resistance and also
non-combustibility which are all benefits to the cast iron drainage pipes.
Cast iron drainage pipes can be embedded in concrete. The cast iron expansion
coefficient practically corresponds to that of concrete. When passing cast
iron through walls and ceilings where a certain fire resistance duration is
prescribed, the heat transmission through the cast iron pipes must be considered.
Cast iron has superior fire protection which means that non combustible cast
iron pipes remain unchanged up to 400 Degrees Celsius. Cast iron pipes need no
fire protection collars when penetrating through walls or ceilings as PVC piping
systems require. Embedded graphite particles give cast iron excellent noise
protection and cast iron density absorbs sound waves so there is no need for
additional noise insulation to reduce waste water noise. This makes it the
perfect drainage pipe system for residential or commercial developments.
Duker guarantees that the pipes, fittings and couplings supplied have been
manufactured in accordance with the standards and approvals valid at the time
of manufacturing. In the case of any defects, Duker will, during a 5 year
period, replace defective parts free of charge.
