Electronic Blueprint promoting sustainability in the Indian Building Industry
"India represents a huge potential for sustainable building product
suppliers," says Karen Bloomfield (Electronic Blueprint CEO) of the moves by Electronic
Blueprint (through its ENVIROSPEC division) to assist the Indian building industry to
promote responsible products.
Speaking of the recent Ahmadabad (India) energy exhibition, Mrs. Bloomfield said,
"We will work closely with our Indian and Australian partners to assess, certify and
promote those building products that contribute positively to our built environment.
ENVIROSPEC has developed and uses a protocol to deal with the sustainability issues
unique to building products, in the context of building regulations, third party
certification and ISO 14024 ecolabelling."
