FAAC Australia D600 & D1000 garage door operators
The FAAC D600 and D1000 belt driven panel lift operators have an
"INCREMENTAL" encoder that counts the RPM. The incremental encoder sends impulses
to the electronic board and memorises how many impulses are required to turn the
full travel speed into deceleration mode in open/close and then finally stopping
the motor were required.
The encoder memorises impulses corresponding to a trolley run and knows the precise
position when to slow down.
This type of encoder has many advantages over conventional limit switches: high
sensitivity, long life and reliability.
There are many elements that effect the closing movement of doors including movement
in the door structure, wear and tear, environmental issue and any one of these factors
can contribute to the malfunction of the door. FAAC has overcome these issues in the
closing direction as the operator will always search for the mechanical stop or the
floor to neutralise these errors.
This closing manoeuvre guarantees perfect closing time after time in any condition.
This means less maintenance and more satisfies customers.
The D600 is for residential use and the D100 is for light commercial use or for heavier doors.
Everything you need comes in one handy kit box and installation is also extremely fast
and easy thanks to a patented head-rail connection system which doesn't require tools to
install.
