AliEdge® Slimline55 aluminium frame doors was the feature material
chosen for this ultra modern kitchen design. The critical issue, for designer Camelia
Tarau, was how to create a truly unique, modern, high shine glossy look.
Having used gloss painted doors in the past, Camelia was concerned with the slight
"rippling" effect, often visible within the painted finish. Unlike painted doors,
AliEdge® Slimline55 aluminium frame doors, uses a solid genuine Perspex® insert,
which producers the perfect sheen i.e. no more "rippling" effect.
While less expensive than equivalent painted glass, AliEdge® also offered Camelia,
superior impact resistance. Given her clients had children, knowing the AliEdge®
Slimline55 aluminium frame doors could take a hell of a whack, was an important,
practical, design advantage.
