Since January 2003, there has been an overwhelming response to take part in saving water.
More than 177,000 rebates have been approved helping Victorian's save more than 1.6 billion
litres of water.
Rain water capture from roof area - 1m² yields 1litre per 1mm of rain falling. The Victorian
Government rebate scheme was extended for 12 months from June 2007 and offers large water
tank rebates of $1000 for tanks connected to toilets and laundries.
