Smaller particle size allows the Ethylene Removal Pad (ERP) to react with ethylene almost immediately upon contact. This immediate uptake allows for higher efficiency, delayed ripening, and longer shelf life.
Shown above, the ERP works especially well with bananas, broccoli, kiwi fruit, spinach leaves, and other highly sensitive produce. Sachets cannot protect these foods as effectively as the ERP.
