Danish Constructions were contracted to construct the external and internal walls for this basement using Insulbrick 240 for the external walls and Insulbrick 170 for the internal walls. All the walls are reinforced to support a concrete slab and two more floor levels. ICF construction provided great versatility and speed for the Owners while building. When completed they will enjoy the acoustic and insulation benefits provided by ICF construction. The trend towards using sustainable building products such as our Insulbricks (ICF- Insulated Concrete Forms) is increasing as more Australians are now taking their responsibility to reduce green house emissions seriously. Being 100% recyclable and non-toxic ICFs are considered a green building material.
