U.V. Grade Polycarbonate to protect Mural

Turramurra High School had a beautifully finished mural painted on the wall surrounding their canteen opening. Unfortunately, the artwork was getting damaged due to constant contact with children's shoe marks and the occasional graffiti artist.

The school's P&C Association approached Allplastics for a solution. Clear 3mm thick U.V. grade polycarbonate was cut, supplied and installed to suit the school's timetable during the school holidays.

Fran McDonald from the school's P&C commented, "The clear polycarbonate looks great, the students are very curious about it and think we have done it to make the fish look like they are in the water!" She added. "Allplastics were great in providing an economic solution to resolve our problem."

Polycarbonate is a very diverse material suitable for applications where a clear, unbreakable and U.V. grade glazing panel is required.
