New CertMark Approved Labels for ACM Panels from Fairview

CertMark Approved Labels for ACM Panels

In partnership with CertMart, Fairview is launching a new packaging initiative to identify and use different ACM panel types. Whilst Fairview's current panels already feature inkjet identification stencils on each panel, Fairview ACM products will soon feature striking new red, amber or green labels clearly reinforcing the panel types and their recommended usage to further assist customers.

John Thorpe, CertMark's CEO said: "This is a timely and effective initiative by CertMark and Fairview to ensure each panel has a definition of the core material and the applicable class of building the panel can be installed on".

The introduction of the labels was announced by Fairview at a Senate Inquiry held in Sydney earlier this week where the Company was invited to present to Senators on their expert insights as well as provide information about initiatives they are pursuing to facilitate better understanding of panel technologies and safety procedures. At the hearing, Fairview also indicated that it would readily support any proposed ban of PE (polyethylene) core ACM panels.
