Davco's UltraFlex flexes its muscles with record coverage

Specially formulated to bond tiles to a variety of substrates for interior and exterior applications; One of Davco Construction Materials strongest selling products, Ultraflex, has chalked up somewhat of a milestone. Since its launch, Ultraflex has reached a point where it is clearly the leading tile adhesive in Australia. During that time Ultraflex has helped to lay over 15 million square metres of ceramic tiles - a real achievement.

A premium grade, fast setting cement based adhesive, Ultraflex has been specially formulated to bond tiles to a variety of substrates for interior and exterior applications.

According to John Moses, Davco's national marketing manager, Ultraflex can be used on both walls and floors to fix tiles to concrete, cement renders, blockwork, brickwork, plasterboard, fibre cement sheeting, old ceramic tiles and even some waterproofing membranes.

"Ultraflex is also suitable for tiling over timber floors if a fibre cement sheet is installed over the timber floor. We recommend Ultraflex for fixing of all types of ceramic, mosaic, vitrified, porcelain, terracotta, slate, quarry, granite and marble tiles.

"Ultraflex is one of our most popular products. This is because both tradespeople and DIY renovators recognise that this is a proven product with many features and benefits that certainly demonstrate its versatility.

"Ultraflex also has a reputation for being easy to use. It is packed in 20kg bags and all you have to do is add water. It sets quickly, curing in about 6 - 8 hours. You can even grout the tiles the same day. That's a big plus for tradespeople working to a tight schedule or DIY'ers who are working on the weekend" John Moses added.

Davco's Ultraflex can be used over most building board surfaces. The company has a range of products to suit all tiling jobs that can be used in conjunction with Ultraflex. These include Ultrabond that allows tiling over a wide variety of surfaces.

"Our product range is thoroughly tested in real life situations and has been developed to achieve the best results for each individual tiling project. In other words there is a Davco product for all circumstances with the emphasis on ease of use and a quality finish."
