Standard Radio Distributors trading as Canohm was established in
January 1963 as Australian importers and distributors of Television, radio receivers,
audio equipment and accessories.
Since 1999, our operations have been centred on our own modern office, showroom and
warehouse complex located in Port Melbourne, Victoria.
Representation is handled by a carefully selected group of specialist sales agents,
who are directed by our marketing and product management staff. Fifteen different
agency companies are engaged, utilising thirty-eight active field representatives
directly contacting current and potential customers. Products are supplied to over
1,400 retail stores covering most of the major electrical retail chains.
Accounting systems are fully computerised and Canohm complies with all Australian
corporate governance requirements. Distribution and additional warehousing facilities
is sub contracted to nationwide logistics company StarTrack Express.
