Wolfin waterproofing features at Darling Harbour from Projex Group
Architects Here working with Timothy Williams & Associates were
commissioned by the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority to design the new Palm Grove
amphitheatre. The amphitheatre project included a control room under the overhead
expressway which housed the sophisticated audio visual and lighting systems.
Because of its proximity to the water and openness to the elements and the delicacy
of the control equipment inside the control room had to be waterproofed to the highest
standard. Accordingly the architects specified the Wolfin Waterproofing System.
Working alongside the builder, Brislands Pty Ltd , Wolfin was fully encased around
the control room - behind the timber facing finish. The system incorporated Wolfin�s
stainless steel profiles due the proximity of the salt water.
The Wolfin was installed by GRG Waterproofing Pty Ltd, licensed and experienced
Wolfin applicators.
