Thermax™ Sheathing insulation from Dynamic Composite Technologies
Thermax™ Sheathing is a non structural, rigid board insulation consisting
of a glass fibre-reinforced foam core laminated between smooth, reflective aluminium foil
facers on both sides. The glass-fibre reinforcement, along with chemical modifications,
contribute to improved fire performance and dimensional stability.
The bonded aluminium foil facers serve as effective moisture vapour retarders. Thermax™
Sheathing insulation products have an aluminium foil facer on one side with a white coated
facer on the other. This design is an aesthetically appealing decorative effect.
Thermax™ Sheathing can be installed exposed to the interior without a thermal barrier which
offers a high insulating value and is ideal for installations in attic's and exposed roof
applications without a thermal barrier.
Thermax™ is manufactured with a HFC blowing agent, which has zero ozone depletion potential
(ODP) than standard CFC/HCFC blowing agents and is Green Star Compliant and FM 4880 Approved system.
