Fletcher Insulation becomes a HIA GreenSmart Leader
Fletcher Insulation has now become a HIA GreenSmart leader and joins
the likes of CSR, Austral Bricks, Boral, Origin, Stockland etc. As a HIA GreenSmart
leader we will support the HIA GreenSmart Code of Practice. Along with the above
companies we will work across Australia to deliver sustainable products, housing and
communities that incorporate the practices.
GreenSmart is a voluntary practical approach to building that focuses on educating
builders, designers, product manufacturers and consumers about the benefits of
environmentally responsible housing. This is an industry-driven initiative that
aims to encourage a mainstream application of its principles to today's housing. As
a voluntary initiative, it provides appropriate market recognition for environmental
endeavors in the residential construction industry.
