Spring Mountings:Housed Mountings - Used where some control of lateral motion of equipment is required; and for an economic solution where high unit loads are involved.
Open - General purpose mountings; spring, cup located.
Vertically Restrained - Used where equipment must be restrained from moving upwards due to reduction in weight (eg. cooling towers, boilers etc). Rubber Mountings:Types R, RD, and SMW
Moulded in oil-resistant elastomer, coloured for load identification. Alternative elastomers available to order. Provide an economic solution for many applications. Isolation Hangers:Rubber Element: Provide vibration isolation and is an effective high frequency (acoustical) barrier. Available as element only with clearance hole (Type RHE), or as caged hanger for insertion into suspension rod.
Spring Element: General purpose hangers. Available as element only with clearance hole (Type KDX), or as caged hanger for insertion into suspension rod.
Spring & Rubber Elements: For use in critical applications; combine the low frequency performance of the spring with the high frequency performance of the rubber element. Available as caged unit only.
