New Forbo STEP PUR is the widest offering in PUR finished sustainable slip-resistant safety flooring and combines safety, functionality, durability, low maintenance and creative flexibility. Ideal for heavy traffic areas, it is suited to healthcare, education, commercial kitchens, hospitality, manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical applications, retail, and offices, among other applications. Eight ranges include new stone, star chip and wood designs with sustainable slip resistant ratings from R10 to R12 and R10 wet area barefoot safety. Forbo STEP PUR has a highly engineered, advanced heterogeneous construction with a market leading robust wear layer containing no filler, achieving the highest wear resistant class of group T. It has superior indentation resistance of 0.02mm, fade resistant and antistatic properties and a newly developed PUR finish for sustainable and low maintenance. A combination of quartz and carborundum or aluminum oxide assures sustainable slip resistance throughout the guaranteed life of the product, meeting requirements of EN 13845 and AS/NZS 4586 standards. The result is safety flooring that is tough, long lasting, durable and extremely wear resistant. No Cleaning Issues
Cleaning issues with slip resistant flooring are now overcome. In addition to the existing popular Forbo Surestep, now Safestep R11, R12 and Grip each have a PUR surface finish that eliminates dirt absorption and tracking usually found on alternative brand products. The remaining R10 SureStep ranges feature Forbo's own PUR Pearl™ surface - a combination of embossing and lacquer that provides a distinctive smooth and lustrous matt finish with high scratch, scuff and chemical resistance. With more design options than conventional safety flooring, Forbo STEP PUR offers 72 co-ordinated colours across a mix of timeless directional and non directional patterns and a choice of matching or deliberately different welding rods. Additionally, Aquajet cutting technology facilitates reproduction of the most intricate designs or logos. Each range within the STEP collection has its own characteristics and applications.
