WSAA Approved MAESTRO Access Covers from EJ

MAESTRO™ gets the WSAA Tick of Approval - More EJ Innovation

While MAESTRO™ is already making a name for itself on the streets of New Zealand and some parts of Australia, it's reassuring to know that both MAESTRO™ covers - the 600mm and 800mm - are now WSAA Approved.

Approval was granted after almost 12 months of intensive testing that involved the thorough investigation of all components including the ductile iron poured by our EJ Picardie French foundry and right down to the rubber seal made from raw materials provided by ExxonMobil.

The WSAA appraisal process investigates, not only the raw materials and manufacturing processes used, but also the individual features such as the unique hinge, robust frame anchoring, impenetrable Slam Lock system, lifting instructions and onsite handling. WSAA ensures that all the products' materials and features are in compliance to the Australian Standard AS3996 and the European Standard EN124.

Extensive field trials were also undertaken by a nominated independent and unbiased water authority, in this case SA Water. Following the installation of two MAESTRO™s, SA Water's Asset Manager for Infrastructure Management and Delivery, Lynton Bishop concluded, �The installation was trouble free and both field trials were successful. There have been no reported failures/leaks with these covers to date. Hence, it is the opinion of SA Water that the results of the field trials were favorable."

Accordingly, all Australian Water Boards have been advised of these successful MAESTRO™ appraisals and of their official approval for use on sewer and stormwater applications. The general consensus is that MAESTRO™ covers do what access covers are expected to do but with many performance features that ensure that they perform effortlessly.
