Flood Roller Doors
The shopping centre needed a flood barrier with pedestrian access that automatically closed. Flood Roller Doors provided the added benefit of improved security and protection against flood. Made with a stainless steel frame, the doors have aluminium slats with hydraulic seals and come with safety visual and auditory pre-deployment alarms. The Flood Roller Doors have sensors which stop the closure if there's a detected obstruction.

Flood Roller Doors operate automatically. They are able to be activated by pressing the pushbutton on the wall mounted control panel which compresses the aluminium slats. They also are installed with self-closing technology which uses floodwaters to activate the seals without the need for human intervention.

Flood Roller Doors have passed stringent performance testing for impact resistance and water leakage.

Hinged Swing Gates
Hinged Swing Gates were also chosen to protect infrastructure from water inundation. Made from 2 pac painted steel section, hinged swing gates have manual and self-closing versions. Self-closing version include operational safety systems with audible and visual pre-deployment alarms.

24/7 Flood Doors
Previous fire doors in the shopping centre were replaced with 24/7 Flood Doors manufactured by Flooding Solutions. Flooding Solutions offered a practical solution that addressed the need for a flood barrier designed specifically for normal pedestrian use. Delivered pre-hung on the frame, they are ready to install and can be fitted with panic hardware or with a particular locking device.

Vertical Lift
Flooding Solutions installed three Vertical Lifts above the David Jones loading bays found in the back of the shopping centre. The Vertical Lift is ideal for addressing physical complexities that inhibit installation of conventional swing gates and RAM PUSH barriers.

Vertical Lifts are available in mild steel, stainless steel or aluminium. They are activated through a control panel that features audible and visual pre-deployment alarms for maximum safety operation.

RAM PUSH Flood Protection Devices
Flooding Solutions provided RAM PUSH flood barriers to protect the modified carparks of Westfield Warringah Mall. RAM PUSH devices are recessed into the ground, offering a seamless flood protection solution that doesn't compromise the structural design.

The system comes with pre-deployment alarms and sensors that detect obstruction. RAM PUSH deployment is totally automated and can be activated by pressing the pushbutton on the control panel mounted on the wall. It can also be remotely activated with a mobile phone for precautionary deployment prior to flood threat.
