New colours for Opalz™ MDF powder coating from DecoWood 
Following widespread consultation with customers from the joinery, kitchen, commercial interiors and furniture markets, there is now a new range of colours available for Opalz™ MDF powder coating. The Opalz™ MDF powder coating system is the result of the combined efforts of Decorative Imaging Pty Ltd, Interpon Powder Coatings, the world leader in powder coating and Carter Holt Harvey, Australasia's leading supplier of forest products. Opalz™ utilises the latest powder coating technology based on global knowledge from Interpon Powder Coatings and special high performance MDF board from Carter Holt Harvey. Decorative Imaging has developed a unique process for coating MDF that reliably meets the three objectives required to coat this organic material. The Opalz™ range is now available in a selection of neutral tones, such as Platinum White, Cappuccino, Off White and Light Beige that are perfect for modern commercial and residential interiors. And, for the demands of an exceptional design, Opalz™ MDF powder coating can be supplied in any custom colour to suit the interior design perfectly. With the absence of harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) when curing the powder coating and completely free of PVC, in addition to the low formaldehyde emission rating for the high performance MDF board, the Opalz™ MDF powder coating system is as environmentally friendly as it is practical, both in its application and for end-users.
