Georges Cranes' OHS and Environment policy
George's Cranes is committed to ensuring the health safety and
welfare of its employees, subcontractors, customers and members of the public
and achieving sustainable environmental objects at all its workplaces.
In order to achieve this objective George's Cranes has established a Site Safety
Management Plan, which facilitates the integration of Occupational Heath Safety
and Environmental Protection into all aspects of the companies planning and
operations.
In implementing the elements of the Health Safety & Environmental Management Plan
George's Cranes will:
- Identify potential Health Safety & Environmental hazards and assess the risks.
- Develop and maintain safe working procedures.
- Provide training, information and instruction.
- Implement an injury management program.
- Adopt a consultative approach to workplace health and safety with stakeholders.
- Provide adequate resources to facilitate this policy.
- Implement and review the policy effectiveness.
All persons will be responsible in the areas of their control for the implementation
and enforcement of this policy and the Safety Management Plan, compliance with
legislation and ensure the safety of employees, contractors and others who may be
affected at the workplace.
Everyone will be required to cooperate with this policy and any site health and safety
requirements by following correct safe work procedures and report any unsafe condition.
George's Cranes is committed to the implementation of this policy and will review its
effectiveness regularly.
