Sheet foam from Thermotec Australia - proven brand foams

Thermotec offers an extensive range of proven brand foams so that you can now select the best sheet foam for your particular application.

Buoyancy Foams
Low Density Direct Extruded Closed Cell Polyethylene foam, acid, solvent and water resistant. Innovative design to help you meet Australian Builders Plate and USL regulations for the boating industry. Available in plank 50mm thick x 1000mm wide x 2000mm long. Can be cut into strips on request. Compliant and certified buoyancy foam with the National Register of Compliant Equipment until 2011.

Thermotec Buoya is specifically manufactured for use in all alloy and steel construction boats and is suitable for use where it is welded into sealed compartments as well as for use in all GRP, Wooden boats, etc.

Supafoam
Direct extruded foam sheeting. Available in a range of densities, widths and thicknesses. Manufactured by Thermotec in Australia for more than 10 years. Reusable and recyclable.

Plankfoam
Non cross-linked unlaminated polyethylene foam planks. Proven product performance in a wide variety of applications. Plankfoam is lightweight, resilient, tough, waterproof and resists aging, rotting and chemicals. Available in a full range of densities and thicknesses as well as in sheets and rounds. Re-useable and recyclable. Cushion Packaging Protection packaging against single and multiple impacts and vibration. Ensures appropriate protection with a minimum of foam. Component Parts A material for products requiring shock absorbing, vibration dampening, insulating, barrier or buoyancy component.

Thermotec Australia's substantial experience over the past 18 years has enabled the company to successfully offer clients a range of converting services. In particular we specialise in high volume, long run converting for OEM manufacturers and other high volume users of specialty foam components. Products are tailor-made to meet client's requirements. Many of the converted products are specifically designed for impact protection packaging applications but the company is also able to make a wide range of products by using its computer aided cutting, slitting, spliting, die cutting, sheeting and laminating facilities.
