Crown molding encapsulates a large family of moldings which are designed to gracefully flare out to a finished top edge; generally used for capping walls, pilasters, cabinets; used extensively in the creation of interior and exterior cornice assemblies and door and window hoods. Nosings is the rounded edge of a stair tread that projects over the riser. Crown Moulds Note Crown moulds are supplied in two parts.An anchor piece attahes to the top of thecabinet and the decorative mould is heldby the anchor piece. Height is the vertical height from the topof the cabinet to top of the mould.
Reach is the horizontal projectionfrom the front of the cabinet.
