At 100,000 hours of quality light, lights can be run for 12 hours a day and still last over 20 years. Cleverly engineered, induction lighting utilises fluorescent lighting technology, with one major difference. Fluorescent lighting uses electrodes in either end of the lamp, which over time, will die and cause the lamp to fail. Induction lighting has replaced this flawed element with a high frequency generator designed to produce a magnetic field which excites the gas in the tube.
