Lorimer Onyx Structured non-slip porcelain floor tiles

It is every specifier's responsibility to maintain the safety of any part of a development project. Slips, trips, and falls are highly critical factor to a floor space. As part of the design process and to prevent costly litigations from accidents on clients' premises, interior designers, architects, manufacturers, contractors and end users must be proactive in specifying floor tiles that comply with slip resistance standards.

Johnson Tiles has over 50 years of experience in the ceramic tile industry. The Victorian-based company offer a broad range of wall, floor, specifier and feature tiles as a result of their grounded manufacturing process, continuous product development and excellent customer service.

The Lorimer Structured design is one of the non-slip porcelain floor tiles manufactured by Johnson Tiles. They have an unglazed, rocktop surface finish. Lorimer underwent rigorous slip resistance testing to certify product safety and integrity. The tests are done in compliance with AS 4586:2013 or the Slip Resistance Classification of New Pedestrian Surface Materials.

Anti-Slip Porcelain Floor Tiles on Wet Pendulum Test Method
The wet pendulum test method may be performed in a testing facility or on site. The rate of resistance to the motion of the pendulum determines the slip resistance rating. It mimics the action of a slipping foot.

Lorimer Structured anti-slip porcelain floor tile has a Slip Resistance Value of P4, the second highest classification under the wet pendulum test - offering a low contribution to slip under wet conditions.
